Real Madrid academy talents rise amid squad changes
Several young talents from Real Madrid’s academy, La Fábrica, are gaining significant attention due to recent squad changes and international call-ups.
Carlos Espí has been called up to the Spanish national team by manager Luis de la Fuente to replace Ferran Torres, who is sidelined with an ankle injury. Espí, a Real Madrid forward, earned the spot following a standout performance with the U-21 squad, where he scored five goals and provided two assists in a match against San Marino.
In the club's defensive ranks, Mario Rivas may see increased opportunities following surgery on Raúl Asencio. Rivas has previously received praise from manager José Mourinho, who noted the player has a “fantastic future.”
Additionally, 18-year-old attacker Alexis Ciria is drawing praise from former academy assistant Adri Díaz. Díaz described the player as having “spectacular talent” capable of reaching a high level in professional football, noting his recent progression within the Real Madrid Castilla dynamics.
