Bayern Munich and Real Madrid eye major football transfer moves

Major European football clubs are navigating significant transfer and contract negotiations involving key players.

Bayern Munich is working to secure French forward Michael Olise with a long-term contract extension potentially lasting until 2032. To retain him, the club is reportedly prepared to increase his salary to approximately €25 million per year. However, Olise’s representatives are seeking a release clause exceeding €200 million to ensure future mobility, amid interest from clubs like Real Madrid and Liverpool.

Simultaneously, Real Madrid is monitoring Liverpool captain Virgil van Dijk. With the defender’s contract potentially expiring in 2027 and no new deal currently on the table at Anfield, Madrid is considering a move for the veteran on a free transfer. Other clubs, including AC Milan and Inter Miami, have also been linked to the defender.

In addition, Bayern Munich has identified Barcelona defender Jules Kounde as a primary target for the winter transfer window. The German club may look to fund a move for the versatile Frenchman by selling Kim Min-jae, though Barcelona is reportedly holding a high asking price of approximately €75 million.
