Real Madrid and Barcelona lead race for Manchester United talent JJ Gabriel

Manchester United academy prospect JJ Gabriel is nearing a decision regarding his future, with a move to La Liga appearing highly probable. Reports indicate there is a 95% chance the 16-year-old will leave Old Trafford.

Real Madrid and FC Barcelona have emerged as the primary contenders for his signature. Real Madrid has reportedly accepted terms presented by the player's camp, with the total transaction estimated at approximately 10 million euros, covering a three-year contract and various bonuses. While FC Barcelona has offered a strong sporting vision and a focus on youth development, their financial proposal is considered less competitive, and recent contacts have been described as preliminary.

Other major European clubs, including Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich, have reportedly cooled their interest. Gabriel's Irish passport is expected to facilitate a transfer to a foreign club. The player has expressed a desire to leave the club since September, though Manchester United management previously resisted his request to be deregistered.
