Real Madrid begins installing illuminated signage on Santiago Bernabéu facade

Real Madrid is proceeding with the installation of the Santiago Bernabéu stadium name and club crest on the main facade facing the Castellana. The new structure will feature backlighting to ensure visibility after sunset.

Work on the facade resumed recently following delays caused by the completion of lower entrance gates, as regulations prevent simultaneous construction at different heights in the same area. The club previously conducted tests on typography and scale, including a trial of the letter ‘B’, to optimize the visual impact from various angles.

In addition to the exterior signage, the club is installing an LED banner in the second tier of the stadium. There are also discussions regarding a potential metal structure in the Plaza de los Sagrados Corazones near the Bernabéu Market to provide a dedicated photo opportunity for supporters.
