Real Madrid Castilla youngsters attract interest from Alavés and Valencia
Deportivo Alavés is monitoring Real Madrid Castilla captain Manuel Ángel, a highly rated midfielder with a contract running until 2027. The club is considering either a loan that lets the player gain top‑level minutes while Real Madrid retains a share of his rights, or a small transfer with a repurchase option, a model the Spanish giants have used before. Other suitors such as Deportivo La Coruña, Como and Fulham are also reported to be watching his progress.
Valencia CF has opened talks about a possible loan of 18‑year‑old centre‑back Joan Martínez, who joined Real Madrid's reserves from Levante’s academy. Martínez, who has a contract until 2029, would arrive on loan with an option to buy, while Madrid would likely keep a percentage of his economic rights. The move is aimed at bolstering Valencia’s defensive options ahead of the new season.
