Real Madrid ends Barcelona's 18-match home winning streak

Real Madrid secured a 2-1 victory against Barcelona at the Spotify Camp Nou, ending Barcelona's impressive streak of 18 consecutive La Liga home wins at the renovated stadium. Kylian Mbappé scored twice for Real Madrid, while Raphinha provided the lone goal for Barcelona.

This defeat marks the first La Liga loss for Barcelona at the Camp Nou since its return following extensive renovations. The streak included 14 wins during the 2025/26 season and four wins at the start of the 2026/27 campaign. While Barcelona has faced losses in other competitions, such as the Champions League, this result breaks their perfect league record at the venue.

Following the match, Barcelona manager Hansi Flick noted that his team lacked physical stamina and addressed the need for a tactical response to move forward.
