Bayern Munich rejects Real Madrid bid for Michael Olise

Bayern Munich’s sporting director Christoph Freund said rumours linking winger Michael Olise with a move to Real Madrid are “not a topic for us at all”. He added that Bayern are “looking forward to Michael returning from his vacation” and expect him to play a key role this season. The club, which has Olise under contract until 2029, also noted that it will not expand the squad heavily this summer and is focusing on other targets such as Diomandé and Rodri.

Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez had earlier hinted at interest and a possible €150 million offer, but Bayern maintained that no direct or indirect contact has taken place. Freund also commented on other players, stating that João Palhinha and Sasha Boey will train with the team but are expected to move on elsewhere.

The club’s stance closes the transfer saga surrounding Olise for the current window.
