Real Madrid faces internal tension and player suspensions

Real Madrid is experiencing significant internal friction following the return of manager José Mourinho. Reports indicate a recent physical altercation between two unnamed players occurred within the locker room, echoing tensions from previous seasons.

Adding to the instability, Kylian Mbappé has faced criticism following his recovery period from a knee injury. After being sidelined, the French forward was seen in Paris and later posted footage of himself cycling in Switzerland. This has drawn scrutiny due to Mourinho’s strict injury prevention protocols, although some reports suggest the club does not view the recreational cycling as a violation of recovery procedures.

Simultaneously, winger Vinícius Júnior is serving a four-match suspension in La Liga following a red card received during a match against Villarreal. Mourinho has publicly defended the player, expressing admiration for his character and resilience under pressure. The coach suggested that the timing of the suspension announcement appeared intended to disadvantage the team, noting that Vinícius will miss key fixtures, including the upcoming El Clásico against Barcelona.
