Real Madrid identifies key players and future goalkeeper targets

Real Madrid is focusing on a core group of five essential players under the direction of coach José Mourinho: Kylian Mbappé, Vinícius Júnior, Jude Bellingham, Federico Valverde, and Thibaut Courtois. Mbappé has shown significant offensive impact, scoring seven goals in six matches, while Bellingham has been repositioned to focus on attacking contributions.

In addition to the current squad, the club is planning for the future of its goalkeeping position. As Thibaut Courtois approaches his mid-30s, Real Madrid is monitoring several potential successors. Targets include Porto’s Diogo Costa, who has a €60 million release clause, and Arsenal’s David Raya, estimated to cost over €50 million. Toulouse FC goalkeeper Guillaume Restes is also being considered as a more affordable long-term option, with a valuation of approximately €19 million.
