Real Madrid issues fine to Asencio and pursues Bellingham extension

Real Madrid is managing significant personnel matters involving both disciplinary actions and long-term squad planning.

Defender Raúl Asencio has been issued a €100,000 fine by the club following a disciplinary procedure. The sanction stems from legal issues involving a driving infraction committed late at night, which the club determined damaged its image. Despite the internal penalty, Asencio has returned to training and has been called up to the squad by manager José Mourinho for the upcoming match against Rayo Vallecano.

In terms of long-term strategy, the club is working to secure midfielder Jude Bellingham with a new contract. Negotiations are underway to potentially extend his stay at the Santiago Bernabéu until June 30, 2032. This move follows Bellingham's strong performance under Mourinho, where he has recorded four direct goal involvements in four La Liga appearances.
