Real Madrid keeps control of Nico Paz as Como coach rules out Inter move

Cesc Fàbregas, head coach of Serie A side Como 1907, said that only Real Madrid can decide the future of 21‑year‑old midfielder Nico Paz. Paz, a product of Real Madrid’s academy, joined Como on loan with a buy‑back clause that gives the Spanish club 50 % of his economic rights. After speculation sparked by Como vice‑president Javier Zanetti, Fàbregas stated, “Nico is a Como player at 50 %, but he is ours. The only club that can say anything about this is Real Madrid,” and confirmed that Paz will not transfer to Inter Milan.

Italian sport newspaper Corriere dello Sport echoed the sentiment, publishing a headline claiming “Mou stays with Paz” and suggesting that Mourinho might coach Real Madrid. Fàbregas urged respect for both Como and Real Madrid in the ongoing transfer discussion.
