Real Madrid nears deal for Manchester United prospect JJ Gabriel

Real Madrid is reportedly close to securing the signature of 16-year-old Manchester United talent JJ Gabriel. The young forward, often referred to as ‘Kid Messi’, has been the subject of intense interest from several major European clubs, including FC Barcelona, PSG, and Bayern Munich.

Gabriel’s camp has expressed a strong desire to leave Manchester United, seeking an immediate exit. To facilitate a move, the player reportedly requested specific conditions to remain at United, including a seven-figure annual salary, the number 77 jersey, and guaranteed playing time in specific matches. Manchester United has resisted these demands, offering only a scholarship contract instead.

While Real Madrid’s proposal is considered highly appealing, a transfer may not be immediate. Manchester United has reportedly refused to cancel the player's registration with the English football authorities, which could delay the move until next season. Gabriel is represented by agent Ali Barat.
