Real Madrid leads race for Manchester United talent JJ Gabriel

Real Madrid has emerged as the frontrunner to sign 16-year-old Manchester United attacking midfielder JJ Gabriel. The teenager, widely regarded as a generational talent, reportedly rejected an improved financial and sporting proposal from Paris Saint-Germain, as he and his representatives, led by agent Ali Barat, prioritize a move to Spanish football for his professional development.

Other major European clubs have stepped back from the pursuit. FC Barcelona has reportedly decided not to enter a financial bidding war for the player, while Bayern Munich has also withdrawn from contention. Real Madrid is said to be prepared to offer a package exceeding €10 million over three years to secure his signature.

Gabriel formally requested to leave Manchester United in September due to frustrations regarding his development pathway and first-team opportunities under manager Michael Carrick. While United has attempted to persuade him to stay, the player has been training independently as he seeks a move. Any potential transfer remains subject to FIFA regulations regarding the international movement of minor players.
