Real Madrid likely to retain striker Gonzalo Garcia as Betis bid stalls

Real Madrid’s 22‑year‑old forward Gonzalo Garcia is expected to stay at the club after Real Betis’ interest hit two obstacles. The Seville side values the striker at around €30 million, a fee that exceeds Betis’ budget, and new Real Madrid manager José Mourinho has indicated he wants to keep Garcia as a reliable backup centre‑forward.
