Real Madrid Near Deal for Ivorian Winger Yan Diomande

Real Madrid have reached verbal personal‑terms with 19‑year‑old Ivorian winger Yan Diomande, who impressed at the 2026 World Cup and in his debut season for RB Leipzig. The club reportedly offered an initial €90 million fee plus €10 million in bonuses, a sum Leipzig has rejected as insufficient. Leipzig is demanding a total in the €120‑130 million range before releasing the player, who is under contract until 2030.

Paris Saint‑Germain, Liverpool, Manchester City and Arsenal have also been linked to Diomande, but the Spanish giants now appear to be the front‑runners. PSG had previously secured a personal agreement with the winger in June, yet Real Madrid’s renewed bid has shifted the balance. Manchester City’s director of football has signalled a €100 million offer, also turned down by Leipzig. The transfer window closes at the end of August, and Real Madrid are expected to improve their offer in the coming days to meet Leipzig’s valuation.

If completed, the move would give Real Madrid a high‑tempo right‑wing option to complement Kylian Mbappé and support the club’s rebuild under José Mourinho.
