Real Madrid players Kees Smit and Brahim Díaz face contract developments

Real Madrid is monitoring several players as they navigate potential transfer and contract developments. Kees Smit, a 20-year-old Dutch midfielder from AZ Alkmaar, is reportedly close to accepting a contract extension with his current club that would run until June 2030. While Smit has expressed a preference for playing in LaLiga, his renewal would complicate any immediate attempt by Real Madrid to sign him.

Simultaneously, Juventus is showing significant interest in Real Madrid winger Brahim Díaz. The Moroccan international, whose current contract is set to expire in June 2027, is a target for the Italian club as they look to strengthen their attack. Although there are unconfirmed reports that Díaz may have signed an extension until 2030, his current lack of regular playing time at Real Madrid makes a future move a possibility.
