Real Madrid pursue Inter defender Alessandro Bastoni for €70 million

Real Madrid have renewed their interest in Italian centre‑back Alessandro Bastoni, who is currently a key defender for Inter Milan. According to recent reports, club president Florentino Pérez asked Inter sporting director Gabriele Marotta for details on the player and indicated a price tag of about €70 million, the same figure previously mentioned in talks with Barcelona.

Inter, whose contract with Bastoni runs until 2028, view him as essential to their project, but the club may consider a sale if the conditions are right. The Spanish side’s coach José Mourinho would ultimately decide whether the defender would join the Real Madrid squad.
