Barcelona’s transfer plans and Atlético Madrid’s pursuit of Enzo Fernández

Atlético Madrid have shown interest in Argentine midfielder Enzo Fernández after Real Madrid ruled out signing him. Chelsea continue to demand a multi‑million‑euro fee for the player, but the Spanish club is reportedly preparing a bid.

FC Barcelona have decided not to offer a new contract to striker Ferran Torres, leaving the 20‑goal‑a‑season forward to explore a move to Paris Saint‑Germain. At the same time, injuries to Frenkie de Jong will not impact the club’s midfield strategy, as they retain young midfielder Marc Casadó. Casadó has turned down approaches from Premier League sides such as Manchester City and Chelsea, and Barcelona have valued him at over €30 million, with a contract running to 2028.

Deportivo Alavés (Dépor) have identified Polish left‑centre back Bright Ede as a target, praising his left‑footedness, physical profile and potential for development as a modern defender.
