Real Madrid reportedly hires German manager Bernd Reichart

Real Madrid is reportedly hiring German manager Bernd Reichart to oversee the club’s finance department. Reichart previously served as the CEO of A22 Sports Management, the agency established to promote the European Super League project.

Reichart has significant ties to Spain, having studied in Salamanca and worked for the Atresmedia media group between 2004 and 2013 before moving to RTL Deutschland. His appointment follows a legal settlement reached in February between Real Madrid and UEFA.

While Real Madrid has paused its direct efforts regarding the Super League, the hiring of a key figure from the project suggests the club may still be interested in pursuing elements of the concept, especially following recent reforms to the Champions League format.
