Real Madrid scouts Liverpool stars amid Champions League campaign

Real Madrid is reportedly monitoring several high-profile players, including Liverpool's Florian Wirtz. Despite Wirtz's recent struggles in form since his £116 million move to the Premier League, scouts were sent to watch him during a recent match. Additionally, reports suggest Real Madrid and Barcelona were both present at Anfield to observe Erling Haaland.

In the 2026/27 Champions League, Real Madrid, led by head coach Jose Mourinho in his second spell, is aiming for a 16th title following consecutive quarter-final exits. The club currently sits in the league phase standings with one win and one loss, following a 2-1 victory over Inter Milan.
