Real Madrid seals Mark Cucureja transfer; Barcelona pursues Morocco prodigy Ayoub Bouadi
Real Madrid is close to completing the signing of Chelsea left‑back Mark Cucureja. The deal, valued at more than €50 million, would bring the player to a club that already paid a similar sum for Alvaro Careras, meaning Madrid could invest around €100 million in two left‑backs. Cucureja is noted for his aggressive one‑on‑one defending, recorded four assists and one goal last season, and has nine Premier League assists in total.
Barcelona has quickly moved on a potential reinforcement, targeting 18‑year‑old Moroccan midfielder Ayoub Bouadi, who impressed at the 2026 World Cup. The Catalan side is reportedly preparing an offer of about €50 million for the Lyon‑based player, whose contract runs until 2029. Bouadi is seen as a future midfield leader to help Barcelona retain the La Liga title.
