Real Madrid seeks to extend Arda Güler's contract until 2031

Real Madrid management is working to extend the contract of 21-year-old Turkish midfielder Arda Güler until 2031. While his current agreement is set to expire in the summer of 2029, the club aims to secure his long-term future by adding two additional years to his term.

Güler joined Real Madrid from Fenerbahçe in the summer of 2023 for a fee of 21 million euros. Since his arrival, he has become a key part of the team's attacking dynamics, recording 116 appearances, 19 goals, and 26 assists.

The club's commitment to the player was demonstrated during the previous summer transfer window when Güler rejected an offer from Chelsea. Despite the English club reportedly offering wages nearly triple his current salary in Madrid, the player chose to remain at the Bernabéu to compete for a starting position.
