Real Madrid aims to secure Vinicius Jr with July contract talks

Real Madrid has set a decisive meeting for the end of July to negotiate a new contract with Brazilian winger Vinicius Jr. The talks follow his World Cup appearance and come before his current deal expires at the end of the 2026/27 season, after which he could sign a pre‑contract with another club from January 2027.

The club, confident that a renewal can be reached, plans to offer a contract extension shortly after the player returns from the tournament.
