Real Madrid sets €60m price as Camavinga linked with Manchester City
Real Madrid have placed midfielder Eduardo Camavinga on the transfer market with an asking price of around €60 million. The decision, endorsed by new head coach José Mourinho, is intended to free up funds for other signings as the club restructures its squad.
Manchester City are reported to be in direct talks with Real Madrid about a possible move, with the English club already engaged in midfield recruitment following the record signing of Elliot Anderson. Other Premier League and European teams, including Liverpool, Juventus and Chelsea, have also shown interest.
Camavinga, who suffered injuries and limited playing time last season and missed France’s 2026 World Cup squad, has publicly stated he wants to stay at the Bernabéu and fight for a place under Mourinho. Despite the player’s wishes, the Spanish side appears ready to consider offers that meet the €60 million valuation.
The saga has been covered by multiple outlets, with transfer guru Fabrizio Romano confirming the player’s intention to remain at Real Madrid while acknowledging the club’s openness to a sale.
