Real Madrid targets midfielders Aleksandar Pavlović and Kees Smit

Real Madrid is actively planning for the future of its midfield, identifying Aleksandar Pavlović and Kees Smit as key targets for upcoming transfer windows. The club is prioritizing the reinforcement of its central midfield to provide more tactical options and balance for the squad.

Aleksandar Pavlović, a young midfielder from Bayern Munich, has emerged as a potential candidate for the winter market. While Pavlović fits the profile of a player who can provide circulation and ball control, negotiations may be difficult due to Bayern Munich's current stance on retaining their players.

Additionally, the club is monitoring Kees Smit of AZ Alkmaar for the summer 2027 window. The 20-year-old Dutch midfielder is viewed as a long-term solution to fill the void left by veterans Toni Kroos and Luka Modrić. However, AZ Alkmaar is working to secure Smit with a contract extension until 2030, and the player's valuation has reportedly risen to 60 million euros.
