Real Madrid’s negotiations to sign RB Leipzig winger Yan Diomande have hit several obstacles. Leipzig has not answered the club’s latest offer, keeping the deal in limbo, while the 19‑year‑old has missed the German side’s pre‑season camp in Austria after reporting an illness. The German club is demanding a fee of about €120 million, with possible bonuses raising the amount to €135 million. Adding to the complexity, Real Madrid discovered that Diomande is still represented by Maxidel Management alongside Roc Nation, creating a legal dispute over his agency rights.

At the same time, Real Madrid’s pursuit of Manchester City midfielder Rodri is also delayed. City has refused to release the player until it secures a suitable replacement, leaving the Spanish giants waiting for a final agreement. Both transfers are further complicated by La Liga’s 25‑player squad limit, which would force Real Madrid to off‑load other players if the signings go through.

Despite the setbacks, Real Madrid remains keen on completing both deals, with Diomande reportedly having agreed to a contract until 2031 and Rodri expressing a preference for a move to the Bernabéu.
