Real Madrid weighs activating buyback clauses for young players from Como

Real Madrid holds the right to re‑purchase Argentine midfielder Nico Paz from Italian club Como for €9 million, with further buy‑back options set at €8 million in summer 2025, €9 million in 2026 and €10 million in 2027. Paz joined Como in the summer of 2024 on a low‑fee transfer that also gives Real a 50 % share of any future sale.

The Spanish club is also reported to be considering similar clauses for central defender Jacobo Ramón, who arrived at Como in the summer of 2023 for about €2.5 million, and for 22‑year‑old Victor Muñoz, who moved to Osasuna last summer in a deal worth roughly €23 million. The final decision on whether to trigger any of these options rests with Real Madrid.

Como is reportedly trying to retain Paz for at least another season as the club prepares to compete in the Champions League for the first time, while the players have expressed a desire to continue under coach Cesc Fàbregas.
