Real Murcia fans protest high ticket prices for FC Cartagena derby

Supporters of Real Murcia are protesting against the ticket prices set for the upcoming derby against FC Cartagena. The Federación de Peñas Murcianistas (FEPEMUR) has announced it will not organize travel to the Cartagonova stadium in protest of the 30-euro price tag established for visiting fans.

FEPEMUR stated that such costs, combined with standard travel expenses, make it increasingly difficult for supporters to follow their team away from home. The organization has urged fans not to purchase tickets as a measure to demand more affordable pricing.

Pedro León Sánchez, president of Real Murcia, described the pricing as “abusivo” (abusive) and expressed full support for the fans' decision. He noted that these high costs throughout the season hinder the atmosphere that should be present at football matches.
