Real Oviedo training facilities damaged by wild boars

Wild boars have invaded the El Requexón sports city, the training facilities of the Spanish football club Real Oviedo, causing significant damage to the playing surfaces. The animals have entered the grounds during the early morning hours, destroying the grass on multiple pitches.

Real Oviedo coach Julián Calero confirmed that the wildlife has impacted the team's training schedule, stating that the club is working to address the issue but noting that the damage has forced changes to their planning. The facilities are located near a natural area and the Nora River, making wildlife incursions a recurring possibility. While the first team's daily routine has not yet been fully disrupted, the damage has affected various fields used by the women's team and the club's reserve side, Vetusta.
