Real Sociedad draws 0-0 against Hearts in Europa Cup

Real Sociedad Femenino drew 0-0 against Hearts in their away match in Scotland, keeping their chances of advancing to the round of 16 in the Women's Europa Cup alive. Despite dominating much of the match and creating several opportunities through players like Ainhoa Campo, the Spanish side was unable to find the back of the net.

A significant moment occurred during stoppage time when Nerea Eizaguirre missed a penalty, preventing a late victory. The result leaves the tie balanced heading into the second leg, which will be played at Zubieta next Wednesday.

Real Sociedad enters this competition looking to break a winless streak in domestic play. Head coach Gorka Álvarez noted that participating in this new competition provides a psychological opportunity for the team to find its rhythm and improve its performance in the league.
