Real Valladolid selects new captains via player vote

Real Valladolid has announced its captains for the current season following a vote by the first team. The selection emphasizes local identity and club roots, as the chosen leaders are all from Valladolid and were developed through the club's youth academy.

Iván Alejo has been named the first captain, followed by David Torres and Álvaro Aceves. Carlos Clerc serves as the fourth captain. This new leadership structure replaces the previous system based on seniority, which had been represented by Marcos André and Juric last season.
