Real Zaragoza and Real Murcia face historic Primera RFEF clash

Primera RFEF Copa del Rey Spanish football Real Zaragoza Málaga CF

Real Zaragoza and Real Murcia are set to face each other in a significant Primera RFEF matchup. Both teams currently sit at the top of their group following the first seven matchdays.

The fixture carries historical weight, noting their 40 previous encounters and a particularly dramatic relegation playoff from 1991. That historic series served as a turning point for Zaragoza, eventually leading to their 1995 Cup Winners' Cup title under coach Víctor Fernández.
