Realbotix unveils Echo humanoid companion robots
Realbotix has announced Echo, a new series of humanoid companion robots designed for social interaction, education, and wellness. The robots feature lifelike silicone skin and articulated movements to facilitate human-like engagement.
The lineup includes two configurations: a tabletop model priced at $11,950 and a full-body version priced at $59,950. The tabletop unit is approximately 81 centimeters tall, while the full-body models stand between 1.8 and 1.95 meters. Both models utilize AI integrations from services such as ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini to support conversations in over 100 languages.
An optional vision system called Vinci can track facial expressions, gaze direction, and emotional cues, allowing the robots to maintain eye contact and recognize returning users. While the robots are designed for companionship and service environments, they are not intended for household chores. Deliveries are expected to begin in the second half of 2027, with an initial production run limited to 250 units.
