Reallusion launches AccuFACE 2 AI facial mocap with GPU acceleration

Reallusion has released AccuFACE 2, an upgraded AI‑powered facial motion‑capture plug‑in for iClone that works with Character Creator 5 HD characters. The new version leverages GPU acceleration to deliver ultra‑low‑latency, full‑frame tracking while keeping CPU load low, enabling real‑time performance capture on consumer webcams, phones or pre‑recorded video.

AccuFACE 2’s AI model drives all 262 blendshapes and 128 corrective morphs of CC5, capturing subtle facial nuances such as micro‑eyebrow twitches, lip‑puckers and extreme deformations. Adaptive vision algorithms provide stable tracking in dim lighting, heavy shadows, aggressive head turns and across diverse skin tones. An Expression Curves system lets artists non‑linearly shape motion signals for stylized or realistic results.
