realme collaborates with Ricoh on GT 8 Pro smartphone photography

The realme GT 8 Pro features a new collaboration with Ricoh, aimed at bridging the gap between mobile photography and dedicated camera experiences. The device introduces a specific “Ricoh GR” mode designed to emulate the photographic language of dedicated compact cameras.

This partnership allows users to access specialized profiles, such as the monochrome settings found in the Ricoh GR IV Monochrome, directly through the smartphone. The integration focuses on providing a more meditative and intentional approach to photography, offering high-level results that cater to users seeking the aesthetic qualities of fixed-lens compact cameras within a mobile device.
