realme launches limited Harry Potter Edition smartphone

realme has launched the realme 16 Pro Harry Potter Edition, a limited-edition smartphone produced in collaboration with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products. Global production is capped at 5,000 units.

The device features a Hogwarts-inspired design, including a brown Argyle leather-textured back and a camera module styled after Hedwig the owl. It utilizes “Quadra Light-Sensing Color-changing Technology,” which allows the Hogwarts house crests on the rear panel to reveal their specific colors when exposed to UV light.

Technical specifications match the standard realme 16 Pro, featuring a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Max chipset, a 200MP main camera, and a large battery (ranging from 6,500 to 7,000 mAh depending on the report). The software includes a custom UI with themed icons, wallpapers, and animations.

Collectors receive a specialized box designed to resemble a Hogwarts trunk, containing items such as a replica acceptance letter, a Platform 9¾ ticket, and character postcards. The edition also includes themed accessories like the realme Buds T500 Pro Harry Potter Edition.
