POCO and realme launch new smartphones with high-capacity batteries

Several smartphone manufacturers are launching new devices focused on extreme battery life and high-performance hardware.

POCO has officially released the M8x 5G in India, featuring a 7,900mAh battery, a 6.9-inch 120Hz LCD display, and the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 chipset. The device is expected to offer four years of Android OS upgrades and six years of security updates. Additionally, leaks suggest the upcoming POCO X8 and X8 Power series will arrive in India by early September. The X8 Power is rumored to feature a massive 10,000mAh battery with 100W fast charging and a Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 processor.

In the Philippines, realme has teased the realme 16T, which includes an 8,000mAh Titan Battery with a seven-year health guarantee and IP69 Pro water and dust resistance. Meanwhile, realme reported that its 16x 5G model has become the top-selling smartphone in the INR 20,000–30,000 price segment in India.

Other notable releases include the iQOO Neo11 Extreme Edition in China, featuring a 9,100mAh battery and MediaTek Dimensity 9500M processor, and the Xiaomi 15, a compact flagship utilizing the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset.
