Healthcare companies present updates at Morgan Stanley conference

Several healthcare and biotechnology companies participated in the Morgan Stanley 24th Annual Global Healthcare Conference to provide updates on their operations and clinical developments.

Inventiva S. A. reported that it is approaching a Phase III readout in Q4 for its lead product, lanifibranor, which targets NASH. enGene Therapeutics Inc. discussed its development of detalimogene, a nonviral gene therapy for bladder cancer, noting upcoming data maturation and planned meetings with the FDA. Cytokinetics, Incorporated provided an update on the launch of MYQORZO (aficamten), stating the company is on track to meet ambitious market access and prescription goals.

Other participants included WW International, Inc., which addressed business changes following the adoption of GLP-1 medications, and Charles River Laboratories International, Inc., where CEO Birgit Girshick discussed her transition into the role and her efforts to engage with global stakeholders.
