Realty Income and Main Street Capital continue monthly dividend payments

Realty Income and Main Street Capital continue to provide monthly dividend distributions to shareholders. Realty Income has announced its 674th consecutive monthly dividend, set at 0.2710 US dollars per share for September. This follows a previous increase in June and represents the company's 135th dividend hike since its 1994 listing on the New York Stock Exchange.

Realty Income maintains a diversified real estate portfolio spanning all 50 US states, the United Kingdom, and eight other European countries. As of the end of the second quarter, the company reported an occupancy rate of 98.8 percent and a rent recapture rate of 102.7 percent. Its Adjusted Funds from Operations (AFFO) reached 1.09 US dollars per share, a 3.8 percent increase year-over-year.

Main Street Capital has set its regular monthly payments for the October to December period at 0.265 US dollars per share, in addition to announcing a special dividend. For investors, factors such as interest rates, credit risks, US withholding tax, and EUR/USD exchange rate fluctuations remain critical considerations when evaluating these monthly income models.
