RealWarriPikin and Delta State groups resolve event dispute

Anita Asuoha, a comedian and content creator known as RealWarriPikin, has reached a peace agreement with Delta State stakeholders regarding a dispute over her upcoming comedy event in Effurun.

The controversy arose from branding disagreements, as the event was initially advertised as being in Warri despite being scheduled for the Uvwie Local Government Area in Effurun. The Wado City Advocacy Group had formally objected to the branding, requesting that Effurun be correctly identified as the location.

A reconciliation meeting involving representatives from the Delta State Government, the Wado City Advocacy Group, Prince Collins Eselemo, and Chief Godfrey Ishegbe resulted in a joint statement. All parties agreed to cease public confrontations and social media exchanges regarding the matter. The stakeholders expressed a commitment to working together to ensure the successful hosting of the show and issued apologies for any public confusion or embarrassment caused by the dispute.
