REANIMAL: The Prisoner DLC Released by THQ Nordic

THQ Nordic announced the launch of the first story expansion for REANIMAL, titled "The Prisoner," during its Digital Showcase 2026. Developed by Tarsier Studios, the DLC adds two new playable characters – the Soldier and the Prisoner – who must survive in war‑torn streets of a previously familiar location. It is available now on Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, PC and Nintendo Switch 2, priced at $9.99 (or 45.99 zł) and included in the game’s season pass.

The release was accompanied by a promotional sale on Steam and other platforms, offering discounts on REANIMAL titles and related THQ Nordic games. Gameplay guides published online detail a metro‑station puzzle within the DLC, requiring players to retrieve an axe, break a glass panel and enter the code “ØDE” to progress.

The announcement and sale were covered by gaming outlets in Italy, Germany, Poland and the United States, highlighting the DLC’s new narrative content, co‑op features and its role as the first of three planned expansions for REANIMAL.
