During the August 8 episode, the team faced a difficult "Ultima Catena" challenge. Despite having a potential prize pool of several thousand euros, they failed to identify the correct word, "spicco," which led to the prize money dropping significantly to 71 euros. While they missed the final jackpot, their total accumulated winnings stood at 30,689 euros.

In the subsequent August 9 episode, "Le Pappardelle" faced a new challenge from the team "I Menestrelli." Despite some errors in the word association rounds, the champions maintained their lead, eventually winning the episode with a final score of 94,000 to 48,000.
