Reazione a Catena: I Mici Amici reclaim championship title

The Italian game show Reazione a Catena, hosted by Pino Insegno, has seen a recent shift in championship dominance. On October 7, 2026, the team ‘Le Suocere’ (comprising Laura, Marta, and Rita) attempted to defend their title against the challengers ‘I Mici Amici’ from Reggio Emilia.

By October 8, 2026, ‘I Mici Amici’—a group consisting of husband and wife Antonio and Giovanna, along with their friend Elisa—successfully reclaimed the championship. They defeated the challengers ‘I Pupi’ from Torino, a team of engineers.

In the competitive rounds, ‘I Mici Amici’ accumulated 93,000 euros compared to the 49,000 euros earned by ‘I Pupi’. The decisive ‘Intesa vincente’ test saw ‘I Mici Amici’ identify eight words in 55 seconds, outperforming their opponents. Despite their victory in the rounds, the team failed to secure the final prize during the ‘Ultima Catena’ phase.
