Rebecca Cooke's financial disclosures reveal payments from Soros-linked groups
Financial disclosures released following the Wisconsin Democratic primary reveal that congressional candidate Rebecca Cooke received payments from two organizations with ties to George Soros’ Open Society Foundation.
Cooke, who won the primary for Wisconsin’s 3rd Congressional District, reported receiving more than $5,000 each from Third Way and the Pipeline Fund for work described as fellowships. Third Way reportedly confirmed a $30,000 payment to Cooke for a project aimed at elevating working-class concerns.
The disclosure was released two days after the August 13 primary, following a 90-day extension request Cooke filed in April. The filings show the compensation covered the period from January 1, 2025, through July 14, 2026. Both Third Way and the Pipeline Fund have received significant funding from the Open Society network.
