Rebel Games 2026 to host inclusive athletics in Perugia

The Rebel Games 2026 will take place on Saturday, October 3, at the Stadio Santa Giuliana in Perugia. Organized by the Rebel Athletic Club in collaboration with the US ACLI provincial committee of Perugia, the event aims to promote inclusive athletics by breaking down barriers between traditional and Paralympic sports.

Using an ‘Open’ formula, the competition will bring together athletes from FIDAL, FISDIR, and FISPES on the same track and under the same schedule. The day begins at 10:00 AM with wellness activities, including gymnastics and pilates, followed by the ‘Camminata della Salute’ (Health Walk) at 2:00 PM.

Competitive track events start at 2:30 PM, featuring distances of 30, 80, 150, 300, and 1,000 meters. Specific competitions include 100-meter sprints for FISPES athletes and 50-meter and 400-meter race walking for FISDIR athletes. Other activities include standing long jump, medicine ball throw, and vortex throwing. Awards such as the ‘Fast & Rebel’ trophy for sprinters, the ‘T.N.T. (Explosivity Triathlon)’ trophy, and the ‘Master Class’ trophy for athletes over 35 will be presented.
