Rebel Wolves adds save‑import to upcoming RPG The Blood of Dawnwalker

Polish studio Rebel Wolves announced that its forthcoming role‑playing game The Blood of Dawnwalker will let players transfer save data from the first installment to future sequels. Director Konrad Tomaszkiewicz explained that the feature was built into the narrative from the start, allowing decisions made in the debut to influence later titles, a system similar to that used in Mass Effect, Dragon Age and The Witcher series.

A reviewer who spent several hours with the pre‑release highlighted the game's time‑resource mechanic, where actions consume a limited pool of “time segments,” forcing players to weigh choices carefully. Combat follows a directional blocking system reminiscent of Kingdom Come: Deliverance, and the overall tone draws on the studio’s experience with The Witcher 3. The review praised the blend of familiar RPG elements with new strategic constraints.
