Rebel Wolves introduces unique fantasy races in The Blood of Dawnwalker

Indie studio Rebel Wolves has highlighted the novel races featured in its upcoming fantasy game The Blood of Dawnwalker. The game replaces traditional elves and goblins with creatures such as the Sanzhana – small, blue‑skinned beings that resemble a blend of moths and humans and are obsessed with collecting teeth. According to creative director Mateusz Tomaszkiewicz, Sanzhana can "play with time limits" by drawing on folklore that ties fairies to temporal manipulation, tying into the game's core time‑based mechanics.

Another distinctive race is the Uriashi, towering humanoids that dwell in high mountain valleys and have recently re‑emerged after near extinction. The developers have crafted a detailed culture for them, including a conservative societal outlook and unique language challenges. Both races are designed to provide fresh gameplay options and deepen the world‑building beyond typical fantasy tropes.
