Rebel Wolves reveals gameplay details for The Blood of Dawnwalker

Rebel Wolves and Bandai Namco have released a new trailer for the upcoming open-world action-RPG, ‘The Blood of Dawnwalker’, ahead of its scheduled release. Set in the region of Val Sangora, the game follows the character Coen, a Vesperal who possesses both human and vampire traits.

Gameplay is heavily influenced by a day-night cycle and a strict time management system. Players have a window of 30 days and 30 nights to save Coen’s family, with quest progression advancing the clock. Player decisions regarding which missions to undertake or skip will shape the narrative and influence the eventual confrontation with the vampire lord, Brencis.

The combat system features ‘Omniattack’ and ‘Omniblock’ mechanics for fluid strikes and parries, alongside a directional mode that rewards precise timing. The title is set to launch on September 3, 2026, for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
