Rebel Wolves' The Blood of Dawnwalker reaches gold status, set for Sep 3 2026 launch
Polish studio Rebel Wolves announced that its debut open‑world dark‑fantasy action RPG, The Blood of Dawnwalker, has entered the gold phase, confirming that the final version is ready for production. The game, built on Unreal Engine 5 and published by Bandai Namco, will launch worldwide on 3 September 2026 for PC (Steam), PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S with no expected delays.
The title is led by former Witcher 3 developers, including director Konrad Tomaszkiewicz, and is set in a fictional 14th‑century Europe overrun by vampires. Players control Coen, a “Dawnwalker” who can act as a human by day and a vampire by night, with gameplay and narrative choices shaped by a 30‑day in‑game timer. The gold status means physical discs are being pressed while the team will continue polishing a day‑one patch.
The announcement has been echoed across multiple gaming outlets in Japan, Europe and the United States, noting the strong community interest reflected in over two million wishlist entries.
