Rebellion to launch Judge Dredd compact 200‑page collections in 2027

Rebellion announced a new series called Judge Dredd: Compact Crimes that will reprint the original 2000AD Judge Dredd stories in 224‑page black‑and‑white volumes. The books are sized like manga (210 × 148 mm) and will be sold at £9.99 ($12.99) each. Volume One is available for preorder now, with a new installment planned for release each month beginning January 2027. The format is intended to sit alongside popular manga titles on retail shelves and attract manga readers to the classic British sci‑fi comic.

The launch coincides with the 50th anniversary of Judge Dredd and 2000AD, and manga expert Paul Gravett highlighted the potential for the compact size to broaden the series’ audience.
